Ex-Demo Transit Custom 2023- Black Hexaboard Makita MakPac Tool Box Racking

Our ex-demo van racking is delivered flat-packed but may have been previously assembled for product photography or development. The racks have never been glued but may have screw holes or other minor cosmetic defects, chips or imperfections. Otherwise, these are in as-new condition and have never been used.

This unique L-shaped racking unit has been designed for a tailored fit that follows the body contours of the L1 and L2 Transit Custom 2023- van, fitting snugly to the van side and bulkhead. Our Vanimal L-Racks are an innovative design which integrates the bulkhead and front racking units. It is in effect one unit, which maximises storage space by fitting right into the front right corner of the van, making use of space that would otherwise be lost.

This L-Rack has been designed specifically to safely transport and store toolboxes, such as MakPac boxes from MAKITA. Other toolboxes will fit but please refer to the attached datasheet to check the dimensions. This functional and practical racking system for the Transit Custom offers a further 16 compartments to store tools, cargo, and supplies; plus, the optional bottom rail on the bulkhead section can be removed/omitted, providing more toolbox storage space, should you require.

Our Ford Transit Custom L-shaped front and bulkhead integrated racking units are made from heavy-duty, high-quality, 12mm black Phenolic finish hexaboard plywood. This provides an attractive and resilient textured finish, giving the van racks a strong, stable, and durable build.

Bulkhead Section

• 6 toolbox-specific storage compartments for Makita Makpac boxes, or similar **Others will fit - check the datasheet for dimensions**
• 25mm front lip on tool box compartments to stop tool boxes from sliding out or moving
• 5 top storage compartments (check the datasheet for dimensions)
• Fitting the bottom rail is optional, allowing for extra toolbox storage, or alternatively;
• Remove the bottom rail to allow for toolbox trolleys to slide under. Hold these in place using bungee cords
• Bungee fixing locations available in various positions on the racking. (see image example)

Easy-Assembly Push Fit Racking & Shelving Design

The Vanimal branded van racking kit you'll receive will arrive flat-packed making it more manageable to handle and deliver. Full assembly instructions are included, and depending on the design, each rack should take between 10 and 30 minutes to assemble with its easy-to-build push-fit design (mortise and tenon joints + optional wood glue, not provided). Although made of heavy-duty 12mm Phenolic Plyboard and a very rigid build, it is still lightweight, making it simple to lift into the back of your van for installation.
