We’ve had some exciting news today here at Vanimal HQ.
Having spent the last year designing and developing the first Predator Body Kit for the current 2018- Ford Transit Custom, it’s finally ready and en route!
What started as an idea here at Vanimal is now nearing arrival on-site... We discussed ideas, deciding on additions of some bespoke features we wanted to include on our body kit and from looking at the competition, we knew we could build far better. Various mock-ups were done until we were happy. The next stage was creating the concept drawings using CAD software until it was finally approved for prototype production. To ensure everything lined up correctly and fit perfectly, we sent a 2019 Transit Custom to the production facility, the clay moulding stage began. As you can probably see from the pictures, this is a lengthy process, very time consuming indeed, with good reason, we had to ensure everything was just so.
Once the clay mould had gone through final detailing amendments, we had the first kit produced. The results are amazing and we can’t wait to show you the finished article upon its arrival here at Vanimal HQ in North Yorkshire. The initial supply will be for the SWB models, with the LWB version coming soon after.
To save you any additional costs, all the body kits come painted in manufacturer colours; with no extra paint bill expenses or lengthy waits before the kit can be fitted. What’s more, to help your Transit Custom look cooler still (if that’s possible) - we’ve also had two alloy wheels developed, giving you choices of 18” or 20” wheels, either size suit the new body kit perfectly.
